To join the school after high school in the Preparatory Year: 
Selection is based on application documents and during a motivational interview scheduled between October and July.

To join the school during the course (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year):
Selection takes place in two stages: an equivalence test conducted over a day and remotely, followed by a motivational interview and a review of the portfolio with the teaching team.

Professional Retraining

To join the school in FCDI* (1-year intensive program to become an Interior Designer):
Selection is based on a motivational interview with the School Director. An appetite for interior architecture is requested / desired. Some knowledge in drawing is required.

To join the school in FCDAI 1*:
(evening classes) 
Selection is based on a motivational interview with the School Director. Prerequisites in drawing are requested / desired. Possibility to prepare for admission by attending evening drawing classes.

To join the school in FCDAI 2* - FCDAI 3*:
(evening classes)
Selection takes place in two stages: an equivalence test conducted over a day and remotely, followed by a motivational interview and a review of the portfolio with the teaching team.


*FCDI > Continuous Training Interior Designer (Cycle 1)

*FCDAI 1 > 1st year in Continuous Training Interior Architect / Designer (Cycle 1)

*FCDAI 2 > 2nd year in Continuous Training Interior Architect / Designer (Cycle 1)

*FCDAI 3 > 3rd year in Continuous Training Interior Architect / Designer (Cycle 2)

Download the registration form and send it completed, along with the required documents (a €35 check payable to ESAM DESIGN / or bank transfer, current year's certificate of enrollment, copy of already obtained diplomas, CV, and portfolio) to: contact (at) esamdesign.com

USEFUL INFORMATION

1st step:
a practical test will be sent to you by email on a mutually agreed date. You have the whole day to complete it (10 am-6 pm). Once completed and returned to the school, we will schedule a motivational interview date together. 

2nd step:
the motivational interview with presentation of the test and the portfolio to the teaching team.
